11 Fri. USA : Many CLC members will be attending the large International Christian Retail Show in Orlando , July 13-17. CLC Ministries (USA) will also have a stand there. Please pray for all the CLC members who will attend this event — may God help them accomplish all they have planned to do during this time.

12/13 Sat/Sun. Tanzania : Our Tanzania team suffered a fire in the bookstore/warehouse recently which destroyed thousands of dollars worth of books. Pray for our US team as they try to help raise funds to pay vendors for past-due bills for these books. Pray for manager Organ Mapinda as he looks to the Lord for guidance in leading the team forward.

14 Mon. Kenya: Edith Wamalwa writes: “We are looking forward to implementing a special project in September where we will be distributors of the Life Application Study Bible for Tyndale. We feel this is a great opportunity for us to reach out to pastors and missions. Please pray with us that we will be able to make the most of this opportunity and at the same time enable Tyndale to fulfill their objectives to make the Bible available at a low cost.”

15 Tue. Caribbean: There is an urgent need for more workers in the Caribbean: at least two full-time staff and one part-time for Trinidad where we have four stores, and someone for Antigua . Pray too for Marie Jules who is working on her own in St. Lucia ; she says she is experiencing slow but sure improvements there.

16 Wed. Australia: Praise God for the expansion in Australia as CLC works together with local churches to provide bookstores in church buildings. The church outlet in Hervey Bay opened at the end of May, and the bookstall in Gladstone became an official CLC outlet early in June. Please pray for continued good relationships between CLC and these churches, and thank God for the volunteer helpers who work in the church-based stores.

17 Thu. Myanmar – Recovering from Cyclone Nargis: Jacob Mung writes: “Praise the Lord that all our staff and families were kept safe in the midst of cyclone Nargis which devastated parts of the country early in May. Pray that the people in Myanmar will turn their eyes to the living and true God in this time of crisis.” Please pray that our work, and that of the many churches, Bible schools and missions in the area, will be used by God to bring healing and hope to this nation.

18 Fri. USA : Recently the Jubilee Christian Church terminated its agreement to purchase our headquarters building and some surrounding land. This surprising development, after four years working toward selling our property, has led us to evaluate whether God wants us to make this move at all. Please pray that we would have wisdom in determining the next steps as we still have significant needs to deal with.

19/20 Sat/Sun. UK : As the UK reviews its practices, please pray for God's guidance and help in implementing any changes. Today, please remember specifically the trustees, the retail office, the wholesale department, the UK office team and the finance team as together they seek God for His way.

21 Mon. Russia: At the time of writing, the coffee shop/bakery on the ground floor of the CLC building is vacant. It is hoped that it will be operational again by July. Please pray that the Lord will give the new tenants wisdom to run their business well. It is also hoped that there will be a new person joining the CLC team this month. Anita Jones will be on maternity leave, so the team will be short staffed. Please pray that God will provide the right person to help at this time.
