Philippines – We are grateful to God for his goodness and faithfulness – and to all the people who came to support the official opening of CLC in Malolos last weekend. Around 175 people crowded into the shop and two authors signed their books, just published by CLC, at the event. Three well-known personalities from Christian radio in the country helped by acting as MC, being the guest speaker and bringing ministry in song respectively. Thank you for praying for this new project.
Thailand – Praise the Lord with us that a large consignment of English books from the USA have arrived safely in Thailand and should all be displayed in the English section of the new Chiang Mai bookshop for its official opening on the 4th of December. Pray for this team in their responsibilities for this growing bookshop and for a volunteer who is helping them with English books and IT. He has produced a website to keep English-speaking people updated with the shop news (www.clcthailand.com).
